Founded in 1981, Tidelines made an immediate splash with its line of glossy calendars featuring brilliant photographs of ocean scenes. Today, Tidelines calendars and pocket tidebooks are standard issue throughout the coastal United States, Australia and Mexico with ocean enthusiasts and others that simply enjoy the high quality photographs.
In addition to Tidelines’ multi-approach of providing tides on calendars and tidebooks, its web site www.tidelines.com, and graphed tides for 3500 locations nationally, MobileTides (www.mobiletides.com) will expand its current tide coverage to over 4,000 locations world wide on your cellphone. An application is downloaded and stored for quick, cost free access on your phone. A default tide location will be chosen for your local coastline. When traveling, destination tides can be substituted and carried on the phone with no need for cellular coverage anywhere worldwide.
In 2008, Tidelines developed PhotoTides (www.phototides.com), a user friendly website that allows users to create their own custom tide calendars. With PhotoTides, an individual can upload their own photos, write captions, and choose from 3500 tide locations nationwide.
In 2009, we developed TidelinesCustoms (www.tidelinescustoms.com), a comprehensive website that is designed for companies to customize and print personalized promotional tide calendars. The interactive website allows users to upload their photos, create captions, company name, full-color logos, imprinted dates for events, and has space for custom text.
Also new for the 2010 calendar season TideLinks (www.tidellinks.com) allows “destination” enterprises to sell calendars designed and created by their clients. The calendars, either with or without tides, are branded with business logos and company bios. We link the user from the company website to a custom order site, print and ship directly.
